You can contact Élections Québec and the Commission de la représentation électorale to ask questions or file a complaint.

Élections Québec hopes to interact with its clientele in a harmonious, constructive and respectful manner. Please make sure that what you say meets our expectations.

In this section

Since June 1, 2023, we use French in our communications. However, we may use English with people declared eligible to get an education in English and with members of Native communities. If you wish to communicate with us in English, you must certify in good faith that you are part of one of these groups. If you don’t, we will use French.

The information centre’s hours of operation

Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Special hours during election periods:

Revision of Québec’s electoral map

The electoral map delimitation process undertaken by the Commission de la représentation électorale was suspended. If you wish to voice your opinion regarding the electoral map, please contact your MNA (member of the National Assembly).

Have you witnessed what you suspect to be an irregular or unusual situation? Do you want to report a potential offence under Québec electoral legislation? Are you dissatisfied with the services offered by Élections Québec? You can file a complaint.

File a complaint

If you want to follow up on a complaint you have previously made, you can write to the email address that acknowledged receipt of your complaint and include the reference number of this complaint (WEB-XXXXXXXX-XXX) in the subject line of your message. You can also reach us by telephone. Complaints are processed in accordance with the timeframes set out in our Complaints policy (PDF).
